23-Year-Old SafetyS

2023 Fantasy Outlook
Hill played more than six defensive snaps only twice during the regular season despite being the Bengals' first-round pick in 2022, being surpassed by fellow rookie Cam Taylor-Britt. During the fleeting moments when Hill was in pass coverage, it didn't go well - opposing quarterbacks completed seven of nine passes for 102 yards and two touchdowns when targeting a receiver covered by him. Now he has the potential to step up into a bigger role, with safeties Jessie Bates and Vonn Bell, and corner Eli Apple no longer on the team. He'll have to hold off second-round rookie Jordan Battle for a starting job. Read Past Outlooks

Hill is expected to be a part of the Bengals' cornerback room in 2024, Jay Morrison of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Hill spent his sophomore campaign operating as a starting safety for the Bengals, recording 110 tackles, including 1.5 sacks, while also intercepting two passes and deflecting 11 others over 17 contests. Head coach Zac Taylor said Sunday that Hill will "be in the cornerback room" this year, which could mean a position change is in store. The team signed former Raven Geno Stone this offseason and could replace Hill at safety in 2024.

Likely to be a first-rounder

April 24, 2022
Tony Pauline of Pro Football Network believes Hill will be selected in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft.
ANALYSIS
Hill has been a late riser on many teams' draft boards, as coaching staffs have been falling in love with his versatility. His natural position is free safety, but Hill was moved all around the formation at Michigan and can play up in the box for run support or switch to nickel corner to defend slot receivers, making him a valuable three-down player on defense.
