Clear of injury for marquee matchup
Trending up for '20 return?
Kittle, who's been sidelined with a broken bone in his foot since Week 8, believes he's on the verge of returning despite his original recovery timeline indicating he'd potentially be sidelined until Week 16 or later, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports. "They said eight weeks; I said six," said Kittle, who sustained the injury on Nov. 1. "And I'm excited. These last couple days have definitely progressed forward and made me very optimistic about returning to the field of play."
Return accompanied by fine
Lock returned to practice Wednesday after testing negative multiple times for COVID-19, but coach Vic Fangio confirmed the second-year quarterback has been assessed a fine for failing to follow proper health protocols last week, Jeff Legwold of ESPN.com reports.
Possible reduction in role on tap
Goedert, who has recorded 16 receptions for 185 yards and two touchdowns over the last three games, could be in for a reduction in targets with the likely return of position mate Zach Ertz (ankle) to action in Week 13.

Downplays shoulder injury's effect
Murray insisted after Sunday's loss to the Patriots that his shoulder injury isn't bothering him, even though the quarterback was held without a touchdown for the first time all season, Howard Balzer of SI.com reports. "I didn't adjust anything. There wasn't really any situations where I shied away from a hit or anything like that. I mean, they hit me a couple times anyway. I wasn't going to play if I couldn't be myself," Murray said.

Increased role a possibility?

Week 12 outlook brightens?
Parker's chances of success in Sunday's Week 12 divisional tilt against the Jets may increase due to a combination of the matchup against New York's secondary, fellow wideout Jakeem Grant's (hamstring) questionable status, and the likely return of Ryan Fitzpatrick to the starting lineup.
