Hornets Take On Thunder In Road Showdown
The Charlotte Hornets take on the Oklahoma City Thunder at Chesapeake Energy Arena on Friday evening.

The Hornets (9-8) had recently hit a bit of a rough patch with three losses in four games, but they've bounced back to win two straight coming into Friday's contest. Their most recent success came at the expense of the Indiana Pacers, which they toppled by a 127-109 score on Wednesday evening. Jeremy Lamb led the way for the Hornets with 21 points, a total he supplemented with seven rebounds and four assists. Dwayne Bacon enjoyed extended time off the bench and collected 18 points, six rebounds and three assists over 25 minutes. Kemba Walker generated a 16-point, 11-assist double-double that also included two rebounds and one steal. Cody Zeller and Malik Monk posted matching 15-point tallies. Nicolas Batum and Frank Kaminsky each had 11.

The Hornets will be without Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (ankle) on Friday. Willy Hernangomez is listed as probable with an ankle issue of his own.

The Thunder (11-6) have been one of the hottest teams in the NBA during the month of November, and they bounced back from a rare loss with a 123-95 win over the Warriors on Wednesday. Dennis Schroder led the way with 32 points, a total he supplemented with four rebounds, four assists and one steal. Paul George provided 25 points, nine rebounds, five assists and two steals. Steven Adams had a 20-point, 11-rebound double-double. Russell Westbrook saw a scoring downturn but still managed an 11-point, 13-assist, 11-rebound triple-double over 33 minutes. Jerami Grant managed a 14-point, 11-rebound double-double.

The Thunder will be without Andre Roberson (kneecap) and Hamidou Diallo (ankle) for Friday's game. Terrance Ferguson (ankle) and Alex Abrines (illness) both project as game-time decisions.

The two teams split the two-game season series during the 2017-18 campaign.
