Suns Battle Bucks In Midwest Showdown
The Phoenix Suns take on the Milwaukee Bucks at Fiserv Forum on Friday evening.

The Suns (3-14) have an unsightly record, but they've played multiple quality teams very competitively thus far. They also acquitted themselves in defeat against a fellow rebuilding squad in the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday night. Phoenix dropped a 124-116 decision to Chicago, the Suns' third straight loss. Devin Booker led the way with 23 points, a total he supplemented with six assists, two rebounds and three steals. T.J. Warren contributed 21 points, four rebounds and one assist. Deandre Ayton produced an 18-point, 12-rebound double-double that also included five assists. Jamal Crawford led the second unit with 16 points, while Richaun Holmes posted 14 off the bench as well.

The Suns will come into Friday's game at full health.

The Bucks' dominant 13-4 record speaks for itself, and Milwaukee has proven especially impressive on their home floor. The Bucks have dropped just one game at Fiserv Forum all season, and they toppled the Portland Trail Blazers by a 143-100 score in their most recent contest on Wednesday night. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with 33 points and also contributed 16 rebounds, nine assists and three steals. Khris Middleton followed with 21 points, seven rebounds, four assists and two steals. Eric Bledsoe and Malcolm Brogdon generated matching 16-point efforts. Christian Wood and Thon Maker both chipped in 11 points off the bench, while pulling down five and eight rebounds, respectively.

The Bucks will be without John Henson (wrist) on Friday. D.J. Wilson (hamstring) and Donte DiVincenzo (knee) will likely be listed as questionable.

The Bucks swept the two-game season series between the clubs during the 2017-18 campaign.
