Watson recorded 14 tackles in 10 games last season between his stints with the Cowboys and Jags.
Signed in March, Watson will compete for a starting outside linebacker job.The 26-year-old recorded a career-high 42 tackles and 2.0 sacks for the Bucs last season.
Watson will most likely start at OLB for the Bucs after being a backup his first three seasons in the league.
Young and athletic backup LB who should stick with the Bucs in a similar role in 2012.
Watson, a 7th-round draft pick of the Buccaneers in 2010, was expected to go in the third or fourth round range. Watson's excellent athleticism makes him a good fit for Tampa's style of defense. Keep an eye on him as an IDP sleeper if Quincy Black or Geno Hayes miss any time in 2010.
