Williams signed a contract with the Broncos on Thursday, Ryan O'Halloran of The Denver Post reports.
ANALYSIS
Williams was drafted by the Broncos in the seventh round of last-year's draft but was waived prior to the regular season. He was ultimately picked up by the Jaguars and he appeared in six games for the team, rushing for 36 yards on eight carries. He'll now set his sights on securing a depth running back position with Denver.

2018 Fantasy Outlook
Williams failed to make much of an impression during his three seasons on a South Carolina team that wasn't exactly brimming with offensive talent. He transferred to Arkansas as a senior and led the Razorbacks with 827 yards from scrimmage and 10 total touchdowns. What he lacks in college production, he might make up for in experience with pro concepts, as former offensive coordinator Dan Enos previously mentored NFL-bound backs including Alex Collins, Thomas Rawls and Javon Ringer. Williams' size, 4.5 speed and bruising style of play also appealed to a Broncos squad that has struggled in generating yards after contact.
