Andre Patton
26-Year-Old Wide ReceiverWR
2020 Fantasy Outlook
Patton enters his fourth professional season (he was on the practice squad two years to begin his career) with the best chance to make an impact on the field. The decision to let Travis Benjamin and Geremy Davis go in the offseason opened the door for a contentious job battle for the No. 3 WR role behind Keenan Allen and Mike Williams, as newcomers Darius Jennings and Joe Reed figure to make their case for the spot as well. The Chargers offense hasn't featured a relevant WR3 since the emergence of Austin Ekeler, and with a downgrade to Tyrod Taylor at QB, it's likely the team might shift away from its normal pass-heavy approach. Patton signed a contract with the Cardinals on Wednesday.
The 26-year-old hauled in six receptions for 56 yards in 13 games with the Chargers last season. He'll boost the Cardinals' depth at wideout, but he's decidedly behind the team's top trio of DeAndre Hopkins, Christian Kirk and Larry Fitzgerald. With Andy Isabella, Hakeem Butler, Trent Sherfield and KeeSean Johnson also in the mix, Patton will need to impress in training camp practices in order to stick around.

Carson Wentz was robbed of his downfield weapons in 2019, but he's looking much better for 2020 after the Eagles added a trio of speedy wideouts during Day 3 of the NFL Draft.
2019 Fantasy Outlook
After spending two seasons on the practice squad, Patton is primed for an opportunity as the team's No. 4 receiver behind Keenan Allen, Mike Williams and Travis Benjamin. While that likely won't amount to much fantasy value, it's perhaps one of the more interesting training camp battles to monitor, as Geremy Davis, Artavis Scott and Justice Liggins could all lay claim to the aforementioned role.
