2018 Fantasy Outlook
Gallman had a solid rookie year (4.3 YPC, 34 catches), especially given the poor play of the team's offensive line. But any hopes for a larger role were dashed when the team drafted uber prospect Saquon Barkley, who should see a massive workload. Gallman will battle recently-signed Jonathan Stewart for the scraps, though if Barkley were to get hurt, there's upside here, given the upgrade to the offensive line and overall system. Passable as Saquon Barkley's backup
RBNew York Giants
January 5, 2019
Gallman finished the year with 51 carries for 176 yards and a score, as well as 14 catches for 89 yards on 22 targets as Saquon Barkley's primary backup.
ANALYSIS
Gallman passes the eye test, showing quickness and decisiveness in the hole, but averaged only 3.5 YPC (albeit in a small sample), had three drops, and his 6.4 yards per catch as a receiver was below par. At best he remains Barkley's backup, and there's some chance the Giants bring in competition for him.

2017 Fantasy Outlook
Taken in the fourth round, Gallman has a chance to carve out a role should starter Paul Perkins falter or get hurt. Only Shane Vereen and Shaun Draughn are ahead of Gallman on the depth chart, and Vereen is more of a third-down type and Draughn a journeyman vying to make the club. At 6-0, 215, Gallman is fairly stout, though he lacks breakaway speed.
