Filling in against Jack Hermansson
MiddleweightUFC
November 6, 2020
Holland will face Jack Hermansson in Las Vegas on Dec. 5, taking the place of the injured Darren Till (undisclosed), Brett Okamoto of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Holland will be looking for his fourth victory of 2020, having already defeated Anthony Hernandez, Joaquin Buckley, Darren Stewart and Charlie Ontiveros. Three of those wins came via TKO, including a first-round victory against Ontiveros on Oct. 31. He'll have a fairly quick turnaround against the highly-ranked Hermansson, who submitted Kelvin Gastelum in the first round in July in his most recent fight.

Earns fourth victory of 2020
MiddleweightUFC
October 31, 2020
Holland defeated Charlie Ontiveros via verbal submission (injury) at 2:39 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
And with that, Holland becomes the first UFC fighter to four wins in 2020. Holland started jawing with UFC Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya (who was cageside) following the bout. Holland is miles from the title picture, but the soon-to-be 28-year-old is quickly making a name for himself at 185 pounds. At the very least, he'll earn his second $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus in his last four fights. Holland is now 7-2 in the UFC, including the previously-mentioned four victories in the past five and a half months. Holland's next challenge will be to continue this success against better competition. Expect him to get a bump up his next time out, which he hopes will happen before the end of 2020. He left no confusion in his post-fight interview about the fact that he's here to set records.
New opponent for Saturday
MiddleweightUFC
October 29, 2020
Holland will now face Charlie Ontiveros on Saturday in place of Makhmud Muradov after Muradov was forced to withdraw due to unspecified reasons, MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Few fighters have had to deal with more calendar shake-ups than Holland in 2020, so at least he's familiar with late-notice opponent changes. This time, he'll draw a fighter in Ontiveros with plenty of pro experience, as he's competed in promotions such as Bellator, Legacy FC, Fury FC and LFA. Holland will enter this fight with two-inch height and five-inch reach advantages.
Steps in against Makhmud Muradov
MiddleweightUFC
October 18, 2020
Holland will take on Makhmud Muradov in Las Vegas on Oct. 31, Marcel Dorff of MMADNA reports.
ANALYSIS
Holland will step in on short notice to replace Krzysztof Jotko, who withdrew due to a broken toe. Holland has won three straight fights, most recently defeating Darren Stewart by split decision in mid-September. Muradov owns a 2-0 record since joining the UFC but hasn't been able to fight since December, as his two previously scheduled matchups this year wound up getting cancelled.
Three wins in four months
MiddleweightUFC
September 19, 2020
Holland defeated Darren Stewart via split decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
The striking numbers were lopsided in a bout that was contested almost entirely in the feet, but Holland ending up having to hang on following a quick start. When all was said and done, Holland was credited with a 163-97 edge in total strikes landed. Unfortunately for him, he faded over the course of the final five minutes and allowed Stewart -- who was seemingly done following Round 2 -- to get back in the fight. Holland is still working through some consistency issues, but his physical gifts are evident. The 27-year-old has won three in a row, all within the past four months.
Booked for September fight
MiddleweightUFC
August 23, 2020
Holland will take on Darren Stewart in a middleweight bout at a UFC event scheduled for Sept. 19, Marcel Dorff of MMADNA reports.
ANALYSIS
Holland is coming off a win over Joaquin Buckley via TKO (punch) on Aug. 9, and he'll have a relatively quick turnaround against Stewart. Holland had an inconsistent start to begin his career, but he's now won two consecutive fights in a decisive fashion. Stewart also fought at UFC on ESPN+ 32 earlier in August, defeating Maki Pitolo via submission (guillotine choke) as he's now won three of his past four fights. Holland carries significant advantages in height and reach.
