2018 Fantasy Outlook
Suzuki racked up an impressive 100 points in 64 outings for OHL Owen Sound last season and appeared ready to compete for a spot in the Vegas roster. Instead, the versatile forward finds himself shipped off to Montreal, where he will almost certainly have to move to wing -- something he is more than capable of -- in order to break into the lineup. Despite his upside, the youngster will likely start the year in the minors with AHL Laval, but don't be surprised to see him earn his NHL debut at some point this season. Read Past Outlooks
$Signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Golden Knights in July of 2017. Traded to the Canadiens in September of 2018.
Finding groove with new OHL club
CMontreal Canadiens  Juniors
January 14, 2019
Suzuki racked up four assists in OHL Guelph's 8-4 win over Ottawa on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
As expected, the move from Owen Sound to Guelph has suited Suzuki just fine. He now has eight points in his first three games with the club while skating alongside Flyers prospect Isaac Ratcliffe and Blackhawks property MacKenzie Entwistle. That trio has the skill (Suzuki), size (Ratcliffe) and tenacity (Entwistle) to terrorize OHL defenders for the remainder of the year. Suzuki now has 53 points in 33 games on the season.
