Kenny Agostino
Kenny Agostino
27-Year-Old Left WingLW
Toronto Maple Leafs
2019 Fantasy Outlook
After recording 24 points in 63 games split between the Canadiens and Devils last season, Agostino latched on with the Maple Leafs on a two-year contract in free agency. He'll battle for a bottom-six role in Toronto, but there's no guarantee he'll stick with the big club. Should he make the roster, Agostino's unlikely to work his way onto the fantasy radar unless he grows his game significantly at age 27. Read Past Outlooks

Reaches deal with Leafs
LWToronto Maple Leafs
July 1, 2019
Agostino signed a two-year, one-way contract with the Maple Leafs on Monday, Kristen Shilton of TSN.ca reports. The deal is worth $1.4 million.
ANALYSIS
Agostino chipped in six goals and 18 assists between the Canadiens and Devils this past season. He's sampled power-play action in his five-year NHL career, and Maple Leafs GM Kyle Dubas will hope to get key bottom-six minutes from this 27-year-old forward who will not break the bank from a salary cap standpoint.

Past Fantasy Outlooks

2014
Agostino, last season's AHL scoring leader and MVP, has 17 NHL games to his credit to date, having recorded two goals and five points in that span. The 6-foot, 202-pounder has received less ink than some of the Bruins' young forwards who are challenging for jobs with the big club, but the 25-year-old Yale product has proven that he can produce in the minors and could stick around as a bottom-six forward.
Fresh off a four-year stint at Yale, Agostino didn't miss a beat with AHL Adirondack, notching 43 points in 67 games. While he may be older than some of the players currently holding down roster spots in Calgary, he remains a little more raw and is likely to spend another year in the AHL to hone his skills.
Agostino saw a little bit of NHL time at the end of 2013-14, scoring a pair of points in eight games with the Flames. He had a solid career at Yale, scoring about a point-per-game, and will get a hard look in the fall to make the Calgary roster.
