FanDuel NHL: Tuesday Value Plays

FanDuel NHL: Tuesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NHL series.

Goalie

Keith Kinkaid, NJ vs NYR ($8,300): Kinkaid has been playing great over the last month, winning nine of 12 starts over that span. He's won five of his last six recently and faces a Rangers team that is 13-20-5 on the road and tied for 17th in the NHL with 2.85 GPG.

Center

Paul Stastny, WPG at MTL ($5,300): This season has been a complete nightmare for the Canadiens in all areas. They've really struggled defensively, especially against centers over the last month, allowing the most fantasy points to the position. 20 goals and 31 assists surrendered over the 13-game stretch is enough reason to like Stastny in this spot.

Pierre-Luc Dubois, CBJ vs DET ($6,000): PLD has been red-hot with four goals and four assists over his last five games. This matchup works well in the rookie pivot's favor, as Detroit has allowed the second-most fantasy points to centers over the last four weeks. Expect Dubois to be productive in a home matchup Tuesday.

Wing

Kyle Palmieri, NJ vs NYR ($6,300): With four goals and three assists in his last five games, Palmieri comes into this home matchup with the Rangers, a team he's had success against, in good form. Over his last 10 outings against them, Palmieri has eight points, and with the Rangers surrendering the sixth-highest GAA in the league, the veteran winger could add to his totals tonight.

Cam Atkinson, CBJ vs DET ($6,700): Everything aligns in Atkinson's favor in this home matchup. The Red Wings have allowed 16 goals to right wingers over their last 14 games, firstly. Second of all, Atkinson is on a complete tear with eight goals and five assists in his last nine games.

Travis Konecny, PHI at NYI ($5,600): Konecny is in a great position skating on the top line with Sean Couturier and Claude Giroux and is taking advantage of it. The young winger has six goals in his last eight games and should get at least a few opportunities to bury one on Tuesday against the Islanders, whose GAA is 3.61 (second worst in the league).

Defense

Shayne Gostisbehere, PHI at NYI ($6,100): Gostisbehere has 13 goals and 47 assists on the season, which is inside the top 12 among defensemen in both categories. He also has seven power-play goals. With five points over his last five games, a matchup with the Islanders should help pad those numbers. They've allowed 12 goals and 27 assists to the position over their last 13 games, translating to the second-most fantasy points over the last four week.

Ryan Ellis, NSH at FLA ($5,400): Ellis is quite a bargain with nine goals and 20 assists in just 41 games played this season. He has two goals and three assists in his last five games and is a force at getting shots on goal, as well as blocking shots. Among the three-headed monster that Nashville has on defense with Roman Josi and P.K. Subban, it's Ellis who will give you the most bang for your buck.
