To be healthy for fall camp
QBWestern Michigan
Foot
April 2, 2019
Wassink (foot) expects to be fully healthy for fall camp, Patrick Nothaft of MLive.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Wassink was able to participate in a limited fashion throughout spring practice but did not see any live contact during those sessions as he worked his way back from foot surgery. Western Michigan has since wrapped up spring practice and Wassink will now have until August to get back to 100 percent for fall camp, which is the expected outcome. Once healthy, he'll have to win the job back from Kaleb Eleby, who was promising in relief of Wassink down the stretch in 2018.
