Staying at Sam Houston

Wilkerson is taking his name out of the NCAA's transfer portal and staying at Sam Houston, according to Jeff Goodman of Stadium.
ANALYSIS
After a two-week stay in the NCAA's transfer portal, Wilkerson will have withdrawn from it and enroll at Sam Houston again for his senior season. By doing so, SHSU's team retains its best scorer in terms of points per game, of which he averaged 13.8 points across his 31 games started. Davon Barnes logged more overall points during their 2023-24 season, but him being in the transfer portal and expected to enroll elsewhere means Wilkerson likely becomes SHSU's go-to option moving forward.
