Harkless announced his commitment to Oklahoma on April 14, joining the program as a transfer from Cal State Northridge, Josh Gershon of 247Sports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Under current NCAA transfer rules, the 6-foot-4 shooting guard will have to sit out the 2020-21 season, though he noted after committing to Oklahoma that he's hopeful to receive a waiver for immediate eligibility. As a sophomore last season, Harkless averaged 10.7 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game. He'll have two years of eligibility remaining whenever he's officially able to play for the Sooners.
