Savrasov announced Tuesday via his personal Twitter account that he has committed to Georgia Southern as a transfer from Texas Tech.
ANALYSIS
Savrasov becomes the seventh addition to Eagles' 2020 recruiting class and arrives in Savannah after a one-year stay in the Texas Tech program. As a true freshman in 2019-20, Savrasov handled a minimal role off the bench, appearing in 21 games and averaging only 4.7 minutes. The 6-foot-7, 225-pound forward will be in line for a more substantial role at Georgia Southern, though he'll likely have to sit out the 2020-21 to comply with current NCAA transfer rules. Savrasov would then have three years of eligibility remaining beginning in 2021-22.
