Magee only made five starts for the Miners last year after appearing in the starting lineup 16 times as a freshman, but he actually saw his average minutes increase from 19.4 as a freshman to 21.6 this past year. But with his production going down and his team struggling along to an 8-21 record, the sophomore announced he would be leaving UTEP as a transfer over the summer. His three-point shooting might make him attractive to some teams after shooting 42 percent from deep as a freshman, but that number took a dip to 32 percent last year and might make teams hesitant to extend an offer
