Boyce transferred from Memphis and officially signed with Georgia State on Jan. 13.
ANALYSIS
After redshirting in his first season at Memphis in 2018-19, Boyce appeared in five games for the Tigers during the current campaign before entering the transfer portal. He was able to quickly find a new home in the Division I ranks at Georgia State, where the 6-foot-6, 185-pound guard should have an easier time finding minutes than was possible at Memphis. According to Panthers coach Rob Lanier, Boyce will be eligible for the start of the 2020-21 season, so the NCAA may have already granted him a waiver.
