Impressive performance in Spain
GRutgers
August 12, 2019
Young scored a team-high 19 points (7-8 FG, 2-3 3Pt) and added three steals and two rebounds in an exhibition game in Spain on Saturday, Aaron Breitman of onthebanks.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Young was able to do all of that in just 13 minutes of action. The former Texas Longhorn was known for his ability to provide an offensive spark, and so far he is doing just that for his new team. Young will be eligible to play this season after having to sit out the entire 2018-19 season due to transfer rules. His outside shooting could be a big factor for a team trying to make its first NCAA Tournament since 1991.
