16 points to conclude Junior season
GWake Forest
March 12, 2019
Childress finished with 16 points, five rebounds, five assists, two steals and a block Tuesday against Miami.
ANALYSIS
The loss will end the 11-20 Deacon's season. Childress' third season in Winston-Salem saw plenty of peaks and valleys, mixing five 20+ point outings in with two scoreless and two additional single-digit showings, all of which came in conference play. He averaged 14.7 points, 4.0 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 1.6 steals while shooting just 38.3 percent from the floor. Childress will be a default top option for Wake again in 2019-20, and if he can get some additional help, he could find his way to a more consistency senior season.
