Jesse Hogan
Scores four in loss
FGreater Western Sydney Giants
May 15, 2021
Hogan scored four goals and one behind to go with 16 disposals (12 kicks, four handballs) and nine marks made during Saturday's 87-83 loss to Richmond.
ANALYSIS
Hogan is a real spark plug for the Giants and his goal in the second quarter nearly sparked a furious comeback against an experienced Tigers club. Despite the loss, Hogan is providing plenty of assurances that his production is here to stay, especially in a team that knows how to maintain possession even if they struggle to win each week.

Four goals in first game for GWS
FGreater Western Sydney Giants
May 1, 2021
Hogan earned 15 disposals, five marks, four goals and a behind and tackle each Saturday as GWS routed Adelaide 106-39 at Adelaide Oval.
ANALYSIS
Hogan shone in his first appearance in a GWS jersey, collecting a game-high for majors and recording his best disposal total since a Round 13 showing against Port Adelaide back in 2019. Hampered by a quad injury that left him sidelined for the first month and a half of the 2021 season, the now-healthy 26 year-old suddenly becomes an intriguing selection option for fantasy owners, particularly considering that in 2019 and 2020, the midfielder registered 18 goals over the span of 19 games.

Hogan picked up a quad injury in training and remains questionable for Round 1 against St. Kilda, according to Michael Whiting of AFL.com.
ANALYSIS
Hogan has struggled with his fitness for much of the past two seasons and remains injury prone with the Giants. Given the ratings he was receiving in preseason, Hogan could be worth some attention if he can recover in time for the regular season.
