The Skinny

With a number of pieces missing from the Sparks' rotation again Tuesday, look for big minutes from the remaining available players in the rotation. Chelsea Gray, Nneka Ogwumike and Tierra Ruffin-Pratt have all played 30-plus minutes in the last two games and will presumably top that threshold again. Given Atlanta's struggles at guarding opposing forwards, Ogwumike, her sister Chiney and Ruffin-Pratt are all candidates to post big lines. Atlanta sports the worst defensive rebounds rate in the league (64.1 percent) and allows the most second-chance points, both of which the Ogwumike sister's specialize.

The Sparks check in right behind the Dream in terms of opponent points allowed, giving up 78.5 per contest. The Sparks allow a slate-high 33 points in the paint and also send the opposition to the line a slate-high 18.6 times per contest. On top of that, Los Angeles yields the highest opposing three-point percentage (37.0) and second-most three-pointers (7.1) behind just the Aces. While Elizabeth Williams won't help from deep, she may be able to take advantage of the Sparks' interior and also leads the dream with 3.7 free-throw attempts per game. She only attempted two free throws the last time these two clubs met, but she still finished the game with seven points and 10 boards and could challenge a double-double Tuesday. Aside from Tiffany Hayes, who scored 24 points versus the Sparks remains questionable for Tuesday's game, it was Alex Bentley who was the only other player to hit double figures when the clubs last met. She chucked up a season-high 17 shots to reach that mark, however, so some regression may be on tap.

The Skinny

Phoenix and Indiana sport the two slowest paces on the slate, but efficiencies play into a higher over/under than the Sparks-Dream contest. Indiana plays the key role in that, sporting the highest offensive efficiency rating and worst defensive efficiency rating on the slate. Phoenix is most vulnerable on the boards, sporting just a 65.7 percent defensive rebound rate while allowing 38.5 boards per contest. Indiana feeds off the offensive glass, sporting the best offensive rebound rate (34.1) on the slate. Rookie Teaira McCowan is the biggest contributor in that regard, bringing down 8.0 boards per game. She's coming off a 16-rebound effort versus the Sky.

Phoenix enters as six-point favorites and will aim to take advantage of the Fever's defensive deficiencies. The Fever end to struggle with a lot of ball movement, allowing a slate-high 19.9 assists per game. That bodes well for Leilani Mitchell (3.9 per game) and Briann January (3.6 per game), who typically facilitate the offense. The Fever also have a tendency to send the opposition to the free-throw line, working in the favor of Mercury stars DeWanna Bonner and Brittney Griner, who average around four free-throw attempts each per tilt. Griner has one over 20 in each of the two previous meetings with the Fever, with Mitchell contributing a combined 35 points and Bonner tossing in 40 points.

The Skinny

This game sports the highest over/under on the slate thanks to the high-paced Aces. The two clubs also sport the best defensive efficiency ratings on the slate and clean up the glass, notching the two best defensive rebound rates. Seattle's biggest weakness on defense comes in the form of points off turnovers and fastbreak points. The Aces don't have a clear leader on defense, but Kayla McBride recorded two thefts last Friday when the two teams clashed. While Seattle allows a slate-low 65.6 field-goal attempts, the Storm's opponents shoot the most efficiently (42.8 percent) from the field. Cambage finished with a double-double last Friday and seems a good bet to lead the way for the Aces with A'ja Wilson sidelined for the foreseeable future.

Seattle will have just as difficult of a time finding consistent scoring against the Aces. While the Aces play fast, they also play recklessly. Opposing squads average a slate-high 9.3 steals and 5.7 blocks, emphasizing some additional fantasy value for defensively inclined opposing players. Natasha Howard fits the bill on both counts and is coming off a six-block, four-steal effort against the Aces last Friday. Included in the effort was 21 points, so it wouldn't be surprising if Las Vegas makes some adjustments to shut her down a bit more. Jordin Canada tossed in five steals of her own and added eight points, giving her some value in the rematch. While the Aces' competition shoots a slate-low 31.9 percent from deep, they also knock down a slate-high 7.2 shots. Sami Whitcomb may be best position to take advantage of that and proved it Friday with four makes from beyond the arc. She has knocked down three or more deep shots in each of the last four games.
