Won't travel to Australia
Personal
January 12, 2021
Isner has decided against traveling to Australia for the Australia swing, which means he will be withdrawing from Melbourne 1 and the Australian Open.
ANALYSIS
Isner is said to have landed on this decision because he doesn't want to be apart from his family for what could end up being a month-plus due to the strictly-imposed limits of traveling parties to Australia. He most recently lost in the third round of Delray on Monday and we won't likely see him back in action until March.
