Goerges announced Wednesday that she will retire from professional tennis.

The 31-year-old certainly could compete for at least a couple more years and remain somewhat competitive, keeping in mind that she went 32-26 over the past two seasons, but she'll call it a career nonetheless after compiling 12 WTA titles across her 15-year career with a career-high ranking of No. 9 back in late 2018.
