Bracciali was given a lifetime ban from the sport of tennis and a $250,000 fine for his role in match fixing in 2011, David Law of BBC Sport reports.
ANALYSIS
The Tennis Integrity Unit also banned Potito Starace for 10 years with a $100,000 fine in the matter of "match-fixing and associated offenses" stemming from the ATP 500 event in Barcelona. Bracciali has won six career doubles titles (including one this past season) and made the semifinals at the French Open back in 2012.
