Canouse underwent surgery for ulcerative colitis and is expected to be out for the next few months, the club announced Thursday.
ANALYSIS
The midfielder received the diagnosis in 2021, but he only took care of it now, and the surgery means the versatile defensive midfielder will be out until the late summer of 2024 or even the early fall, depending on the recovery process. This was the first of three surgeries that Canouse will undergo. The additional surgeries are scheduled to be performed in the coming months.
