Dream11 Fantasy Soccer: Arsenal v. Norwich City Preview

This article is part of our Dream11 Fantasy Soccer series.

Game Preview

Arsenal kicked off the restart of the 2019-20 Premier League with back-to-back defeats, but they returned to their winning ways against Southampton on June 25 – as a result, their five-game form in the Premier League reports three wins and two losses. That's less than exciting considering the Gunners remain alive in the race for a 2020-21 UEFA Europa League berth, but they still are the odds-on favorite for this contest against Norwich City. The Canaries were eliminated from the 2019-20 FA Cup last weekend and, to make things even more complicated, they are coming off four straight losses in competitive action. Norwich sit dead last in the standings and, based on how they've been playing of late, it would take a miracle to avoid playing in the 2020-21 English Championship. They are winless in their last seven H2H matches against Arsenal in all competitions (W4, D3).

Norwich City: Tim Krul; Max Aarons, Ben Godfrey, Jamal Lewis; Todd Cantwell, Kenny McLean, Alexander Tettey, Tom Trybull; Emiliano Buendia, Onel Hernandez; Teemu Pukki

Top Picks

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Arsenal: Aubameyang is again one of the top scorers in the Premier League, and the Gabon international could have massive chances of bolstering their goal-scoring totals considering how depleted Norwich are entering this contest. The former Dortmund star hasn't scored in his last four contests, though.

Nicolas Pepe, Arsenal: Pepe has established himself as Arsenal's starting left winger and could have plenty of opportunities to produce Wednesday, as Norwich own of the weakest defensive lines in the EPL this season. Pepe has one goal in two starts since the resumption of the Premier League campaign.

Captain and Vice-Captain Options

  1. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
  2. Nicolas Pepe
  3. Todd Cantwell
  4. Hector Bellerin
