FORWARDS

Mohamed Salah, LIV v. NEW (£28): To no one's surprise, Liverpool are huge favorites at home against Newcastle with the highest implied goals total. Salah is nearing the form we saw last season, with five goals and two assists in his last five matches. Meanwhile, Harry Kane (£27) has the highest goal-scoring odds on the slate, but he has a slightly tougher matchup against Bournemouth. Their prices both require at least one goal, but Salah's matchup is slightly better against a Magpie defense that has conceding the second-most shots among teams on the slate.

Wilfried Zaha, CRY v. CC (£19): Cardiff City and Everton have allowed the most goals (13) over the past six matches, while Cardiff allow the second-most shots on target on the slate, along with the most goals allowed. It's safe to say Zaha has been in a slump, but it might be worth taking a chance on him in a quality home matchup.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin, EVE at BUR (£13): A goal and assist in his past two matches have Calvert-Lewin looking good for another start on Boxing Day. He operated as the lone striker in both matches against Manchester City and Tottenham, while Wednesday's match with Burnley is a much better spot to produce. Burnley concede the most shots of any Premier League side and could be a good place for Calvert-Lewin to produce at a cheap price.

MIDFIELDERS

Paul Pogba, MUN v. HUD (£24): After being exiled under former manager Jose Mourinho, Pogba was back in full force as he provided two assists in United's 5-1 rout of Cardiff City last weekend. A home match against Huddersfield is another good opportunity for Pogba to take over in a slate that is stacked with quality midfielders. Anthony Martial (£22) is a cheaper, more goal dependent option, while Jesse Lingard (£15) is coming off a two-goal, one assist performance that will be tough to replicate against Huddersfield.

Xherdan Shaqiri, LIV v. NEW (£18): This is a speculative pick because Shaqiri isn't a guaranteed starter, though there's a good chance he comes back into the first XI due to the congested fixture list. He's been used mostly as a super-sub but has shown he can produce when starting with two goals and two assists over eight starts. James Milner (£16) is a worthwhile pivot if Shaqiri doesn't start and will have a higher floor than Naby Keita (£16) or Fabinho (£14), while Sadio Mane (£24) is expensive and goal dependent. Fabinho has been impressive in his past two performances, providing assists in both outings while scoring 14.10 and 7.55 points, respectively, though his deep-lying role makes me weary of future production in attack.

Juninho Bacuna, HUD at MUN (£10): Bacuna has had a decent share of Huddersfield's set pieces recently, and despite a tough matchup away to Manchester United, his minimum price makes him a low-risk investment with a high chance of making value.

DEFENDERS

Lucas Digne, EVE at BUR (£17): Digne and Gylfi Sigurdsson will likely continue to share set pieces, which hasn't been all that lucrative for either player. Digne is the leading defensive crosser and one I'm going to pair with Jordan Pickford, with Everton expected to win at home.

Ashley Young, MUN v. HUD (£16): I'm having trouble deciphering whether United are revitalized or if they took advantage of a poor Cardiff City team last weekend. Regardless, of United's starters, Young is the closest thing to a guaranteed asset due to his strong set-piece situation.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka, CRY v. CC (£14): Cardiff have scored five goals away from home this season, including two after the 80th minute against Watford two weeks ago. They've been so poor in attack that it's worth considering any defender facing them. Meanwhile, Wan-Bissaka leads all defenders on the slate in tackles won and interceptions, averaging 2.79 and 2.67 per 90 minutes, respectively.

GOALKEEPER

Jordan Pickford EVE at BUR (£15): As we saw last weekend, spending up on goalkeepers is a treacherous path. Alisson and his league-leading 11 clean sheets are worth consideration, but I like Pickford due to Burnley's inept attack and the small savings. Vicente Guaita (£14) and Neil Etheridge (£13) will play each other in a matchup of two sides who could be facing relegation at the end of the season.
