Butler: Kameron Woods Suspended From Team Activities

Posted on February 18, 2014 at 8:54 PM

Woods has been "temporarily suspended" by the Butler basketball program, the Indianapolis Star reports.

The details and length of Woods' suspension are currently unknown, but the 6-9 forward did not travel with the team for Tuesday's loss against St. Johns. Woods had been averaging an impressive 9.1 rebounds per game, which was leading the team by a significant margin. It will certainly be tough to replace the junior's numbers, but coach Brandon Miller used freshman guard Elijah Brown to replace Woods in the lineup on Tuesday, who provided just four points and four rebounds over 28 minutes in the loss.
