Brandon Browner: Appeal For One-Year Suspension Denied

Posted on December 18, 2013 at 4:21 PM

The NFL denied Browner's appeal of a one-year suspension for the league's drug policy, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.

Not only will Browner be unavailable for the Seahawks' upcoming playoff run and a large majority of the 2014 season, he may not ever play another down in the NFL. After he finishes serving the suspension, he would have to apply for reinstatement into the league. There's no guarantee the NFL would accept Browner in light of his status as a repeat offender of the league's drug policy and his refusal to simply accept both of his suspensions rather than appeal.
