Max Pacioretty: Out 3-To-4 Weeks Following Emergency Surgery

Posted on January 26, 2013 at 5:45 PM

Pacioretty required an emergency appendicectomy Saturday and will miss three to four weeks after undergoing surgery.

It's a scary situation for Pacioretty, who was thought to just be suffering from flu-like symptoms that were expected to pass in a couple of days. Pacioretty scored 65 points in 79 games and was well on his way to another impressive campaign before the surgery, having compiled four points in the first three games.
