Austin Collie: Austin Collie: (Concussion) Symptoms Waning

Posted on November 8, 2010 at 11:56 AM

Collie, whose concussion symptoms appear to be waning, was cleared to fly back with his teammates following Sunday's game against the Eagles, the Indianapolis Star reports. "Our medical staff had an opportunity to speak with him this morning," Coach Jim Caldwell said Monday. "Hes doing fine and his symptoms are subsiding. It was a concussion. He's trending in the right direction, which is great."

Good news overall, but it still seems highly questionable that we'll see Collie on the field this coming weekend. Look for Blair White to see added looks against the Bengals in Week 10, if Collie is indeed unavailable.
