Danny Granger: (Knee) Increased Rehab Recently

Posted on January 3, 2013 at 11:17 AM

Granger has increased his rehabilitation of late in order to build up strength in his left knee, the Pacers' official site reports. He has still done little court work, though, aside from shooting on his own after some recent team practices.

Granger has not yet played in a game this season, after receiving an injection of platelet-rich plasma in his knee on Nov. 6 from the renowned Dr. James Andrews. Following the procedure, he was expected to be sidelined for three months, meaning he is slated to return in the beginning of February. Speaking of a potential return for Granger, coach Frank Vogel said, "Yeah, we might. That's right around the time that we're hoping to get him back but we'll see."
