Sammy Morris: Knee Injury Does Not Appear Serious

Posted on October 21, 2008 at 9:51 AM

Morris' knee injury does not appear to be too serious, as he was seen walking around the locker without a limp after the game, the Providence Journal reports.

He remains a decent running back play going forward and, given Laurence Maroney's placement on the IR, should certainly be added immediately if he happens to be available in any leagues. Still, don't expect him to produce like he did in the first half on Monday night, as he'll likely give some carries away to LaMont Jordan (calf) once Jordan returns to action, which should be in the next week or two.
