Santino Ferrucci
Sam Hunt Racing
2021 Fantasy Outlook
IndyCar talent, Ferrucci, will take the wheel for a select schedule of as many as 20 events in 2021. He is a very talented driver, but this will be his first season of stock car racing. We expect some steep learning curves along the way. The 22-year-old former F1 test driver will be focused mainly on the intermediate ovals in this upcoming season. Garrett had a very light, part-time schedule split between the Xfinity Series and trucks last year. The 20-year-old Virginian is still learning the ropes and gaining development. Read Past Outlooks
Indy 500 with Rahal Letterman Lanigan
April 5, 2021
Rahal Letterman Langian Racing announced Ferrucci will be competing in this year's Indianapolis 500 for the race team.
The Indy 500 will be Ferrucci's first IRL event since venturing into NASCAR in 2021. He'll pilot the RLL No. 45 Dallara-Honda at Indianapolis in May. Last season Ferrucci placed a strong fourth in the Indy 500. He'll look to challenge that mark for Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing.
