Ciccarelli will be replaced by Bayley Currey for Tuesday night's Truck Series Race at Charlotte Motor Speedway, Chris Knight of Catchfence.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The team said that the decision was experienced related as well as a makeup from Las Vegas in which Currey experienced mechanical issues. At this point it is not clear if Ciccarelli will be back in the No. 49 Chevrolet for CMI Motorsports by the next race on June 6 at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Ciccarelli made just 3 starts last season in his self-owned team. Featured a few other driver's in the truck for roughly half the schedule. No 2022 plans have been announced, but likely to race part-time again with multiple drivers, including Ciccarelli.
The 51-year-old veteran made 12 starts in the Camping World Truck Series last year. He earned just two Top-25 finishes in those efforts with his small self-owned race team. Ciccarelli has not announced his 2021 plans, so it remains to be seen how much he'll race in the upcoming season.
