Veteran road-course competitor and 24 Hours of Le Mans and and Rolex 24 at Daytona winner Rockenfeller will return to drive the No. 42 Chevrolet for Legacy Motor Club in the Cup Series' final road course race at the Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval.

ANALYSIS
Rockenfeller has made a couple starts this season for the No. 42 Chevrolet team. He fetched 24th- and 19th-place finishes at the Indy GP circuit and Watkins Glen. Rockenfeller has extensive road racing experience, but little familiarity with NASCAR's current Cup Series car. He'll be challenged to crack the Top 20 at the Charlotte Roval.
