Turner Motorsport led GT Daytona practice at Road America with Foley's 2:06.882 lap time in the No. 96 BMW M6 GT3 edging out the No. 16 Wright Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R of Patrick Long by 0.820 seconds, sportscar365.com reports.

Coming off the team's podium finish at Sebring last round, the No. 96 BMW team looked sharp in this opening practice at Road America. Foley put the team's BMW atop the scoring pylon with a great lap. He beat Patrick Long by a healthy sum to lead the session.
