B.J. McLeod
37-Year-Old Driver
Live Fast Motorsports
2020 Fantasy Outlook
This team is expected to race full-time, but with a number of different drivers behind the wheel. The vast majority of the starts should go to McLeod. It's yet to be determined how many, and who will race alongside the veteran. McLeod made 30 starts last season with 22 of those coming in the No. 15 Ford. The veteran driver claimed 11 Top-20 finishes although five of those came in another team's car. So the inconsistency behind the wheel, and unknown drivers are a limiting factor for this race team. The only concrete fact we can hang our hats on is that McLeod will field this car in all 33 events. It's typically running at the end of most races, although not terribly competitively. New Race Team
NASCAR Cup
November 20, 2020
Matt Tifft and McLeod are thrilled to announce the formation of Live Fast Motorsports. The No. 78 Ford Mustang will compete on a full-time basis in the 2021 season and beyond. McLeod will pilot the No. 78 Mustang under the charter that Tifft and McLeod obtained in 2020, alongside Joe Falk.
ANALYSIS
This new race team has pooled the resources of the two veteran drivers and Falk. In addition, they have forged a strategic alliance with Stewart Haas Racing to supply competition support as well as other areas. This will help the fledgling team to grow in NASCAR's top division. McLeod and Tifft have 89-combined Cup Series starts to their credit and should handle this small race team well.

2019 Fantasy Outlook
This team is expected to race full-time, but with a number of different drivers behind the wheel. The vast majority of the starts should go to McLeod. It's yet to be determined how many, and who will race alongside the veteran. McLeod has made 25 and 26 starts respectively the last two seasons, however, split between the team's multiple cars. The veteran driver registered five Top-20 finishes last year, but also collected six DNF's. Lack of continuity in the driver's seat limits this team's ability to develop chemistry and race more competitively.
