Expects to Race this Season
NASCAR Cup
February 15, 2020
Fort Kent stock car driver Theriault, who made his Monster Energy Cup Series debut last season before a concussion prematurely ended it, is in the process of finalizing some multi-race deals in a few different racing series. He expects to race in NASCAR's three major series: Monster Energy Cup, Xfinity and the Gander Outdoors Truck Series, Bangor Daily News reports.
ANALYSIS
Theriault was injured in an October crash at Talladega and did not finish last season due to the time needed for recovery. The journeyman driver has some deals in the works and is securing sponsors so he can race in all three divisions in 2020. It looks like Theriault could be back in action by April or May of this year.
