He used a solid jab to set up hard hooks and uppercuts. When the boxing forced Nelson to stand still, Kharitonov would going to his knees. It remains to be seen what the future holds for Kharitonov in Bellator. He will likely continue to take fights out of the promotion and have the occasional showcase fight.

Gormley stayed on the outside and scored with punches and kicks. However, whenever Kharitonov landed it was hard. Late in the round, the Russian fighter came forward with a two-piece combination that dropped Gormley. He hit the ground, and he was out cold. Kharitonov needed an impressive win after his last fight, and he took care of business.
