Dalby defeated Daniel Rodriguez via unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC 255 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Dalby has long been underrated and now has another impressive victory on his resume to show for it. That being said, this fight was considerably closer than the scorecards indicated and a deeper dive into the numbers illustrates that fact. Dalby landed just 58 total strikes compared to 105 from Rodriguez, while failing on all seven of his takedown attempts. The fact Dalby was still able to emerge victorious is impressive. The Dane hasn't lost a fight dating back to April 2018.

Dalby will take on Orion Cosce at UFC 255 on Nov. 21 in Las Vegas, MMAJunkie.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Dalby owns a career 2-3-1 record with the UFC, including a 1-1 mark since rejoining the promotion last year. He's coming off a first-round submission loss against Jesse Ronson in July. In Cosce, he'll be facing a fighter who is making his UFC debut after going 7-0 to start his professional career.
Disappointing submission loss

Dalby lost to Jesse Ronson via submission (Rear-Naked Choke) at 2:48 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Abu Dhabi.
ANALYSIS
It's a dreadful result for Dalby in a fight in which he entered as a massive -275 favorite. Dalby got caught with a short shot before eventually giving up his back. He tapped out almost immediately. Dalby returned to the UFC last September after more than three years away from the company and picked up an impressive unanimous decision victory over the tough Alex Oliveira, but this was a clear setback for the Dane. His room for error is next to none considering this is already Dalby's second stint with the company.
