Menifield is a perfect 9-0 in his professional career and 2-0 since signing with the UFC in January of this year.
Makes quick work of Paul Craig
Light HeavyweightUFC
June 29, 2019
Menifield defeated Paul Craig via KO (punches) at 3:19 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Minneapolis.
ANALYSIS
Sure, it took a stupid mistake from Craig to create the opening for Menifield to finish the fight, but his ability to bust through the door and land hard, heavy, accurate strikes was extremely impressive. In fact, it was impressive enough to earn Menifield a Performance of the Night bonus on an evening with no shortage of stoppages. There's room for immediate advancement in the UFC's 205-pound division, and Menifield seems like a prime candidate to take advantage of the opportunity. He remains perfect as a professional and is 3-0 with the UFC. Menifield will be getting a better opponent his next time out.

ANALYSIS
Menifield is undefeated through eight career fights, and has had seven of his victories come through knockouts. The power puncher will look to continue his winning streak against Craig, who is more of a submission specialist.
Smashes Vinicius Moreira in UFC debut
Light HeavyweightUFC
January 19, 2019
Menifield won his UFC debut on Saturday, defeating Vinicius Moreira via TKO (punches) at 3:56 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night in Brooklyn.
ANALYSIS
Not only did Menifield win, but he won in style. Realizing early on that his opponent couldn't handle his massive power, Menifield pushed the pace from the start and had Moreira on his heels throughout. Seven of Menifield's eight career victories have come via knockout. There's bound to be concerns that he is nothing but a one-dimensional power puncher, but he looked awfully good on Saturday. He's a name to keep an eye on moving forward.

Menifield will take on Vinicius Alves Moreira in a light heavyweight matchup at UFC on ESPN+ 1 on Jan. 19, MMAJunkie.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Menifield took advantage of his opportunity on Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series, putting away Dashawn Boatwright via first-round TKO. His UFC debut was scheduled to take place in Denver last November, but had to be pushed back when his opponent withdrew due to injury. Menifield will now get an official opportunity against another Contender Series product, though Moreira competed on the Brazilian version. The two fighters have a combined 17 professional fights, with 16 of them ending in first-round stoppage victories. Menifield has earned most of them with strikes, while Moreira is more of a submission specialist.
