2018 Fantasy Outlook
Kuraly logged six goals and 14 points in 75 games this past season while working mostly on the Bruins' fourth line. The 25-year-old brings a good mix of size (6-foot-2, 213 pounds) and energy to the table and does have some untapped offensive potential, thanks to his solid skating and ability to cycle to the puck down low. Kuraly's fantasy ceiling is modest as long as he remains in a bottom-six role, but if he sees third-line work this season, which is possible, he could potentially double his offensive production. On track to play
CBoston Bruins
April 19, 2019
Kuraly (hand) is expected to play in Friday's playoff game against the Maple Leafs.
ANALYSIS
The Bruins' fourth line could use a spark and Kuraly has the size, speed and puck pursuit ability to provide just that. Assuming Kuraly is a go in Friday's Game 5, Joakim Nordstrom is in line to be the team's healthy scratch. Kuraly is coming off a 2018-19 campaign in which the 26-year-old notched eight goals and 21 points in 71 games, en route to recording a plus-6 rating.

2017 Fantasy Outlook
Kuraly came over to the Bruins with little fanfare along with a first-round pick in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft in exchange for goalie Martin Jones back in June of 2015. Since then, the 6-foot-2, 205-pounder has seen action in eight regular-season contests with the big club, recording one assist in the process. Kuraly’s two-goal effort in Game 5 of the Bruins’ 2016-17 playoff series against Ottawa offers hope that the 24-year-old can push for a bottom-six role with the team this season, but the more likely outcome is that he'll bounce between the NHL and AHL as needed.
