2019 Fantasy Outlook
Larsson spent the majority of the 2018-19 campaign with the big club, posting five assists and 57 shots on goal while registering a minus-4 rating in 49 games. The 22-year-old blueliner also tallied five assists in 22 regular-season games with AHL San Diego before adding seven points in 16 contests during the Gulls' playoff run. The 2015 first-round pick could log his first full NHL season in 2019-20, but he won't have nearly enough offensive upside to warrant fantasy consideration. Read Past Outlooks

Larsson has logged one assist and a plus-2 rating while averaging 16:23 of ice time through the first six games of the season.
ANALYSIS
Larsson will be a solid bottom-four defender for the Ducks in 2019-20, but he won't be a viable fantasy option as a player with limited offensive upside skating in a sheltered role.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2018
2017
Larsson posted 16 points and a plus-12 rating in 50 games for AHL San Diego last year. The 21-year-old is an excellent two-way player that can make plays himself, but the Ducks currently have a crowded blue line and Larsson wouldn't benefit from playing on the bottom pairing. Expect him to start another season in the minors with an opportunity to be called up when an injury emerges.
Larsson is at least worth keeping an eye on, as he was Anaheim's 2015 first-round (27th overall) draft pick. He's used to professional hockey having spent parts of three seasons in the Swedish Hockey League with Frolunda HC, but the 20-year-old underwent offseason surgery to repair damage to his knee and the fear is that could sidetrack his development to some extent.
