2018 Fantasy Outlook
The 6-foot-4 forward was leapfrogged by Nicholas Baptiste on the depth chart last year, but the Sabres are willing to be patient and consider Bailey a part of their plan moving forward. Power forwards tend to take a bit longer to develop as they get more experience and add more muscle, but the early signs certainly are promising; Bailey scored 10 goals and 15 points in 37 games with AHL Rochester and three goals in 12 games with the Sabres. He's in position to win a roster spot but the Sabres may elect to keep Bailey in the AHL for a bit longer as he continues to develop. Read Past Outlooks

Ends season with one point
RWPhiladelphia Flyers
April 9, 2019
Bailey posted one point -- an assist -- in 11 games with the Flyers during 2018-19.
ANALYSIS
He saw more NHL action after the trade to Philadelphia in January, but that's not saying much considering Bailey didn't play a game for Buffalo this season. In 11 games, Bailey barely played, averaging 5:44 of ice time. In addition to only one point, he had just five shots on net.

Bailey made significant strides in his development and appeared in 32 games for the Sabres last year, scoring two goals and four points. The budding power forward will likely split the season between Buffalo and AHL Rochester again as he continues to develop. He's a future top-nine winger who can make a difference with his size and skill, but will need more seasoning in the pros.
The 19-year-old power forward will be one of the Kitchener Rangers’ key players for the 2014-15 season. The kid from nearby Williamsville, N.Y. finished the OHL season with 25 goals, an eight-goal improvement from last year, to tie for the team lead. The second-round pick from 2013 will remain in the OHL for the foreseeable future before turning pro. Bailey has not been signed by the Sabres yet but may do at the conclusion of the season.
Bailey is a rangy forward with excellent foot speed, and the Sabres saw enough potential in him to select him in the 2nd round, 58th overall in June’s NHL Draft. He put up 36 points in 57 games with Kitchener of the OHL last season, and is slated to return to junior hockey for at least another season. There’s power-forward upside here, but it will be several seasons before he hits the fantasy radar.
