David Pastrnak, BOS vs. STL ($10,800): Bruce Cassidy kept his second line intact yesterday, but David Backes played just nine minutes in Game 4 and barring a strong first period will likely see limited minutes again. That opens up more ice time for Pastrnak, who's registered at least four shots in three games this series. Even with just two points, Pastrnak is the Bruins' best goal scorer, and with home-ice advantage there will be opportunities for Cassidy to deploy Pastrnak with the other three lines in the offensive zone.
Ryan O'Reilly, STL at BOS ($10,000): He's come up huge for the Blues and now has four points in his past three games, including two goals in a pivotal Game 4. He won 10 faceoffs and added another five shots in just 17 minutes of play, and continues to own David Krejci in head-to-head matchups. It'll be much harder on the road, but with Zdeno Chara's status questionable and the Bruins possibly going with an unconventional 11-7 lineup with potentially two rookies (Connor Clifton and Urho Vaakanainen), the Blues could have the advantage.
Torey Krug, BOS vs. STL ($8,800): He followed up a four-point performance with a minus-3 dud, but it's always been kind of boom-or-bust with Krug. The Bruins had just two power play opportunities in Game 4, taking away one of their best weapons, and – fun fact – the home team has received more power plays than the team on the road in every game this series. Half of Krug's points in the playoffs have come with the man advantage.
Jordan Binnington, STL at BOS ($7,700): He's been much better on the road this series as it moves back to Boston, stopping 55 of 60 shots in Games 1 and 2. He's risen to the task all season, and with the possibility that the Bruins may play shorthanded, it opens the door for the Blues to take a pivotal Game 5 and put them one win away from hoisting the Cup. The defense in front of him with Vince Dunn back in the lineup has been much better in getting pucks out of their zone.
David Perron, STL at BOS ($6,400): He has yet to register a point in this series but it should just be a matter of time; he's had nine shots in his past three games and the San Jose series showed he's still got some scoring touch. His tenacity and physical play pairs well with O'Reilly's two-way game, and their line was dominant in Game 4. He has more upside than Tyler Bozak ($6,600) and also more reliable than Jake DeBrusk ($5,800).
Vince Dunn, STL at BOS ($3,400): He had a fantastic debut against the Bruins, skating 12 minutes and adding three shots on goal and an assist. His Corsi was through the roof at 86.7% with a 26-4 edge in shot attempts, and his transition game was a reason the Blues weren't hemmed in their own zone as often. The Blues blueline is pretty deep, which limits Dunn's limits, but Craig Berube obviously trusts him, and his ability with the puck ensures that he'll get time on the power play.
