DraftKings NHL: Sunday Picks

DraftKings NHL: Sunday Picks

This article is part of our DraftKings NHL series.

Sunday's NHL slate feature Blues-Stars Game 6 at 3 p.m. EDT. While every player is listed as a flex option, the suggestions below will still be broken up by position.

GOALIE

Ben Bishop, DAL vs. STL ($8,300): After earning a Vezina Trophy nomination for his outstanding play in the regular season, Bishop has been tremendous in the playoffs as well. He's given up more than three goals only once in 11 games this postseason, holding opponents to two or fewer seven times.

CENTER

Roope Hintz, DAL vs. STL ($6,100): Hintz has been a major thorn in St. Louis' side, posting three goals and two assists in this series' first five games. With a plus-2 rating, nine shots and six blocks, Hintz has laid down a high floor with plenty of contributions besides scoring.

WINGS

Jaden Schwartz, STL at DAL ($9,700): Schwartz doesn't come cheap, but he's played up to his hefty valuation recently. After potting four goals in the last two games of the first-round win over Winnipeg, Schwartz has three goals and an assist in this series. With St. Louis' season on the line, another strong effort can be expected from the talented winger.

Mats Zuccarello, DAL vs. STL ($7,900): Zuccarello has done nothing but produce since coming to Dallas at the trade deadline, posting four goals and 12 points in 13 appearances  between the regular season and playoffs. Coach Jim Montgomery has compared Zucc to Magic Johnson, so he should continue to trust the diminutive forward with minutes on the first line and top power-play unit.

DEFENSEMEN

Alex Pietrangelo, STL at DAL ($9,400): Pietrangelo has been the best player on his team this postseason. He and Schwartz are tied for the Blues' scoring lead with nine points, and Pietrangelo has stuffed the stat sheet in this series with 18 shots and nine blocks. Given his hefty usage and consistent production, it's hard to go wrong with Pietrangelo.

Miro Heiskanen, DAL vs. STL ($5,500): Heiskanen is another player who sees a significant chunk of ice time, checking in with more than 20 minutes in every game this postseason. In 11 playoff games, the 2017 third overall pick has produced multiple shots nine times and multiple blocks eight times, providing a high floor even before factoring in any contributions to the scoresheet.
