Alex Noren
36-Year-Old Golfer
2018–19 Fantasy Outlook
Noren came to the PGA Tour last season via the European Tour and he arrived with a lot of hype. Though he failed to win on the PGA Tour last season, he lived up to that hype for the most part. Noren made the cut in 14 of 18 starts, posted 10 top-25s and three top-3 finishes. Noren is 36 years old, so he's not among the young crop that is taking over the PGA Tour, but he's still got plenty of years left to make a mark and if he continues to play like he did last season, it won't be long before he picks-up his first PGA Tour win. He comes with a hefty price tag this season, but Noren has the ability to make a significant improvement upon his number from last season. He'll have to win somewhere to do so, but he's certainly capable of doing that. Read Past Outlooks
T44 at TPC Scottsdale
February 4, 2019
Noren shot a one-under 70 in the final round of the Waste Management Phoenix Open to finish in a tie for 44th place
ANALYSIS
Noren carded an eagle and 13 birdies to 11 bogeys this week. His approach play was the best part of his game this week, as he gained over 2.5 strokes on the field and was T13 in GIR's. Pretty good considering he was outside the top-50 in driving accuracy and SG: Off-the-tee. Noren closed out 2018 with five straight top-25's. After a missed cut and T44 through two starts in 2019 it seems he is still trying to find the groove. Noren is not in the field for the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

2017 Fantasy Outlook
Noren missed only three cuts worldwide last season, but they came at the deep-field Masters, U.S. Open and Scottish Open. On the other hand, he captured the BMW PGA Championship, carded T6s at the Open Championship and the European Masters and a T10 at the Players Championship. Ranked 14th in the world, the Swede is fifth in the Race to Dubai. His 424 non-member FedEx Cup Points equaled Luke Donald, who was 107th on the points list. It seems reasonable for Noren to surpass last season's earnings significantly.
