Knous will be a 28-year-old rookie on the PGA Tour after earning his card by finishing top-25 in the Web.com Tour Finals, where he brought his total amount of top-25s on the season to eight. He also made the cut during his lone start at the PGA Tour level during the 2017-18 campaign, posting a T41 at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open. Records ace in final round

Knous notched a four round total of eight-under-par to finish in a tie for 29th place at the Farmers Insurance Open.
The highlight of the week for the rookie was his ace at the par-3 3rd hole on Sunday. Overall Knous had an eagle and 16 birdies to six bogeys and two doubles. He putted very well on tricky greens, gaining 5.5 strokes to the field, which ranked fourth-best. Since a T10 in his first start, Knous had followed with three MC's and T51 before this week. He is listed as an alternate for the Waste Management Phoenix Open.
